Wireless, professional-grade illumination without the hassle and cost of mains electrical wiring
Historically, adding lighting to a loft meant hiring an electrician to wire into your home's mains electrical circuit, routing cables through walls, and running the risk of drilling into active lines. We have changed the game by moving over to a professional-grade, battery-powered light system.
Our new kits, the UKLB Loft Light and the UKLB Loft Light Pro, offer massive brightness, solid mechanical pull-switches, and long-lasting rechargeable batteries. Installed professionally, these systems bring bright, reliable light to your loft in minutes with zero impact on your home's main grid.
By avoiding connection to your mains power supply, there is zero risk of overload, no need for electrical certification, and the installation is completely safe and non-invasive. These are high-output, professional-level kits designed specifically for lofts.

Choose between our standard and professional-level kits, depending on the size of your loft and your usage needs. Both systems utilize robust pull switches positioned at the hatch for ease of access.
Standard Wireless System
Ideal for small to medium lofts. This kit provides brilliant, wide-angle illumination exactly where you need it, powered by a high-capacity rechargeable battery.
Professional Multi-Light System
Designed for larger lofts, frequent access, or complex shapes. Multiple batten light bars illuminate every corner of your storage area, with a backup battery to keep you powered.
Reliable, safe, and professionally fitted for ultimate peace of mind
Absolutely. Our UKLB LED batten light bars are custom designed to output high-lumen, crisp white light. They easily match standard mains-wired LED tube lights and feature wide-angle lens diffusion to eliminate dark shadows in your loft.
For average household storage use (entering the loft for 15-20 minutes a few times a week), a single battery pack will last several months before needing a charge. The lithium-ion packs hold their charge in cold attic temperatures exceptionally well.
It is very simple. The battery pack is secured via a quick-release slide bracket. You simply slide the battery pack off the rafters, take it down, and plug it into a standard charger socket. In the Pro kit, you receive an extra battery pack, allowing you to instantly swap packs so you're never left without light. The battery dock bracket itself is also the charger, making the recharge process seamless.
Yes. Both the UKLB Loft Light and the UKLB Loft Light Pro kits feature mechanical pull-cord switches mounted immediately adjacent to your loft hatch. This means you can pull the cord and turn the lights on before you even begin climbing the ladder, ensuring maximum safety.
