We want to clarify that the installation of the loft light in your house does not require a Minor Works Certificate. In the UK, certain electrical works are exempt from this requirement, and the installation of a loft light falls under this exemption.

The exemption applies to low-risk installations that do not involve significant modifications to the electrical system. Since the installation of a loft light typically entails connecting it as a spur to an existing circuit without major alterations, it is considered a low-risk installation that does not necessitate a Minor Works Certificate.

Although a Minor Works Certificate is not required in this case, I want to assure you that we have still followed all necessary safety procedures and conducted the installation in compliance with relevant electrical regulations. The safety of our customers is of utmost importance, and our Trained Installers have ensured that the installation is both functional and secure.

If you have any further questions or concerns about the loft light installation, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
